Imelda D. "Vergie" Cadiente



Age 67, of Portage, Indiana, passed away on March 25, 2024, at her home. She was born in Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines to the late Isabello and Susanna Daguio. She retired from Dunkin Donuts where she worked as an ice cream cake designer. She enjoyed reading, cooking, playing Mahjong, and watching Korean drama, but most of all she loved being with her family.

She is survived by her three daughters, Michelle (William) Sorge Jr., Melanie (Osbaldo) Alvarez and Melissa Sue (Christopher) Henderson, son, Navarro Locquiao Jr.; four grandchildren, Sebastian, Arleiah, Laralei and Briella Alvarez; siblings, Milagros (Flor) Acosta, Nelia Saavedra, Concepcion Del Rosario, Jovencio Daguio and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Andres Cadiente; parents Isabella and Susanna; and siblings, Juan Daguio, Adeline Diniega, Patricio Daguio and Julio Daguio .

A funeral service for Imelda Cadiente will be held on Monday, April, 8, 2024 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel , 5341 Central Ave., Portage, Indiana 46368. A visitation will be held Monday, April 8, 2024  from 10:00 until time of service, also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, Portage, Indiana.
