Inez M. Lowery

Inez M. Lowery, age 86 of Crown Point passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. She was born on August 20, 1930 in Tiptonville, Tennessee to the late Arthur and Bessie Hopson. Inez was a lifelong Calumet Township and Merrillville area resident. She enjoyed quilting and painting and was a member of the China Painters Guild.
Inez is survived by one daughter, Marye Beth (Del Parkinson) Naujokas of Merrillville, IN; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Shawn) Ensign, Michael (Le Ann) Reed, Adam (Neshia) Naujokas, Jaclyn Naujokas, five great-grandchildren, Nash, Brendon, Joshua, Logan, and Drew, one son-in-law, Leo Naujokas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lowery, one daughter, Diana L. Lowery, adoptive moms and dad, Mary Lee Roper, Nettie McNeely, and William "Shorty" McNeely, five brothers, Richard, Roper, Lawson, Randolph, and Raymond Hopson, two sisters, Louise Wright, and Lady Ruth, and one infant sister.
Funeral services are Thursday July 27, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph St., Winfield/Crown Point, 46307. Cremation will follow with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation is Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel.
