Inikko "Nikko" Miguel Irizarry, age 24, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2025. He was born on November 2, 2000, in Merrillville, Indiana to Sara Krebs and Jose Irizarry. Nikko had a contagious smile and the sparkle in his eyes could light up a room. He treated everyone the way he wanted to be treated and his love truly knew no limits. He loved unconditionally and always focused on the positive. His greatest joy in life was raising his son, Lukas.

He is survived by his son and the light of his life, Lukas Matthew Irizarry; Lukas' mother, Molley Myszkiewicz; his heartbroken parents, Jose (Sharon) Irizarry, and Sara (Tim) Perry; sisters, Patience Garrison, Destiny Negroni, Iyana Irizarry; brother, Anthony Negroni; grandmother, Aida Irizarry; grandfather, Frank Krebs; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Irizarry, Sr.; and grandmother, Rebecca Krebs.

Visitation for Nikko will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. A funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm with cremation to follow. A celebration of Nikko's life will continue Friday from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at the Hobart VFW Post 5635, 540 S.
