Isabel Perez (Quinones-Santos),

age 82 passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1942, in Penuelas, Puerto Rico to Luis and America Santos Quinones (both preceded her in death).
As the oldest of five children, she was loving, protective and very caring of family.  She attended Barber college in Chicago in 1965, becoming one of the first lady barbers to join the profession.  She worked  various jobs and in 1982 moved back to Indiana to be near family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann (Eugenio) Roman; grandchildren, Nino (Lesley) Jaime, Nicole (John) Antecki, Lissette (Mikey) Manna, Cristal (Ryan) Timmons; great grandchildren, Delilah, Mya, Dallas, Jordan, Jayna, Elly, Alex, Bannon, Layla, Romeo, Nina, Gabriel, Luka, and Aiden about to be born; brothers, Israel (Juanita) Quinones, Joe (Nilsa) Santos; sisters, Rose (Julian) Adames, Margaret Quinones (Les) Gaulke;  several loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave, Portage.  Same Day Visitation/Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025.  Visitation from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm.    Funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m.  She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.  For more information, please call (219) 762-3013.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
