ISABELLA HART, age 92, of Lakes of the Four Seasons, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at home. Isabella was born June 7, 1921 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to John and Isabella (Lithgow) Burt. She had been a Lake of the Four Seasons resident for 33 years and was formerly of Calumet Township. Isabella was a loving and special wife and mother who enjoyed reading. She was an avid flower gardener, enjoyed baking and playing the piano.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Elmer J. Hart, son, Elmer J. (Letitia) Hart, Jr., of Naperville, Illinois, 2 sisters, Carol Ann Lakomy of Schererville, IN and May O'Shea of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Burt and 2 sisters, Margaret Ragland and Nellie Harvey. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Anthony Hospice would be appreciated.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph St., Winfield/Crown Point, IN 46307 with Rev. Dan Richwine officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
