Ivan G. Pustik, age77, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village. He was born on May 21, 1942 in Gary, Indiana to the late John and Nettie (Nee Kissel) Pustik. On October 20, 1967, he married the love of his life, Evelyn "Dee" Goll. Ivan was a member of Masonic M.L. McClelland Lodge 357, O.R.A.K. of Michigan City, and Local 150 Midwest Operation Engineers. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn "Dee" Pustik; daughter, Selena (Teddy Burns) Schneckenburger; two grandchildren, Wm. Troy Whitten and Brock Whitten; sister, Linda (Ray) Pustik- Lindsey; two nephews, Joe (Melissa) Gouger and Phillip Goll Jr.; two nieces, Colette (Pat) Walter and Cassie (Adam Gentry) Gouger and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Paula Gouger.

A funeral service for Ivan will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Calvin Hawkins officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342, with additional visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m.. Cremation will follow.  Visitation will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 pm Masonic Lodge 357 service also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
