Izzabella "Izzy" Jade Fundukian

Izzabella "Izzy" Jade Fundukian, 10, of Schererville, passed away Friday, May 3 at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 10, 2014, in Valparaiso to Stacey Fundukian.

Izzy was an ever-loving, sassy girl who loved to have fun with her friends and family.  Izzy oftentimes built forts to play with her favorite toys, Barbie's and LOL's.  She loved to cuddle with her Mommy to watch movies together while eating cheesy popcorn and chocolate. Izzy really enjoyed riding her scooter super-fast and playing at the park with her Daddy. She often called out to her Nana for support and playtime over the phone. Izzy will forever be our lovely little "Queen".

Izzy is survived by her parents, Stacey and John Fundukian; brothers, Anthony Fundukian, Logan Donis, and Damien Donis; sisters, Emma Donis and Leia Choi; grandparents, Valerie Thorn, Bryan and Chong Frank, and Leon Fundukian; aunts, Tracey Mitchell, Donna Romero-Fundukian, and Shelby Thorn; uncles, Jeff Mitchell Jason Fundukian, and Cameron Thorn; cousins, Cristian Mitchell, Landon Mitchell, Jace Mitchell, Ava Fundukian, Brylee Thorn, and Elias Thorn; great-uncle, Bryan Cloney; great-aunt, Nelly Cloney; and Godmother, Saundra Jarrells.

Izzy was preceded in passing by her sister, Rayne.

A visitation will be held from 3:00pm – 8:00pm Monday, May 13 at Rees Funeral Home.  The Celebration of Life will be 1:00pm Tuesday, May 14, also at Rees.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
