Jack L. Brown

Jack L. Brown, age 94, of Portage passed away Wednesday April 19, 2023, Brickyard Nursing Center in Portage. Jack was born October 8, 1928, in Gary, Indiana to the late William and Lucille (Roberts) Brown. He was a Union Plumber that worked out of Plumber's Local Union #210 in Hobart. He was a hard working family man that will be deeply missed by his friends and family. He was a member of ML McClellan Lodge #357 F&AM.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Brown of Portage; three children Daniel Brown of Olcala, Florida, Sharon Baker of Hobart, and Susan Ankarlo of Portage; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Friday April 21, 2023, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. A Masonic Memorial Service will be conducted at 7 pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
