Jack Stafford

Jack Stafford, age 64, of Lake Station, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022. He was born on January 7, 1958, in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Bennie and Donna (nee Hankins) Stafford. On October 10, 1997, in Lake Station, Indiana, he married the love of his life, the late Kathern "Kathy" (nee MacKenzie) Stafford. He retired from Snapple and Dr. Pepper, where he worked as a maintenance mechanic. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars.  Jack will always be remembered as a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his loving daughters: Sara Stafford, Sabrina (Cyndi) Groves; four grandchildren: Teddy Mathias, Trentyn Groves, Adam Tolin, Ava McKinney; four brothers, David (Maureen) Stafford, Keith Stafford, Robert (Tabitha) Stafford and Jerry (Kimberly) Stafford; two brothers-in-laws, Richard (Dorothy) MacKenzie, Jeff (Cheryl) McKinney; sister-in-law, Mary Jo (Melvin) Gaskins; numerous loved nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends. Jack is preceded in death by his loving wife, Kathern "Kathy" Stafford, his parents, Bennie, and Donna Stafford and two brother-in-law, Michael McKinney and Chuck McKinney.
A tribute to Jack will take place Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 7:00 PM at Rees Funeral Home, Brady, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station.
