Obituary

Jacqueline Ann Stevens, age 81, of Lake Station and formerly of Cedar Lake passed away Monday March 11, 2024. She was born November 16, 1942, in Hammond, Indiana to the late Cecil and Ethel (Stivers) Burgess. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Jacqueline was a member of Living Grace Church of the Nazarene in Merrillville.

Jacqueline is survived by two sons, Brian (Diane) Stevens of Lake Station and Scott (Mona) Stevens of Portage; five grandchildren, Zachary Stevens, Kali (Kyle) Wolf, Bill (Sherry) Loving, Brian (Jeanine) Loving, and Noah Trafficanti; eleven great grandchildren, Blake Stevens, Bentley Stevens, Everleigh Wolf, Logan Loving, Alexis Loving, Gabriella Loving, Brantley Loving, Lorelei Loving, Hank Loving, Nicholas Loving, and Aaryn Loving; and many more loving relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Larry Stevens; a great granddaughter, Kadance Loving; two brothers, Danny Burgess and Louie Burgess; and a sister, Pat.

Jacqueline requested to be cremated and will have a memorial service at her church at a later date.
