James Dean Baker

James Dean Baker, age 64, of Lake Station passed away tragically Sunday May 2, 2021.  James was born March 27, 1957 in North Vernon, Indiana.  He was a self-employed property manager and landlord.  He loved flipping houses, cars or just about anything that could be bought or sold.  James had the 'Gift of Gab", he enjoyed drinking his coffee and talking for hours. He was also a former member the Army Reserves

James is survived by his children, Michael (Chelsea) Baker of Lake Station and Katherine (Kevin) Holstine of West Virginia; grandchildren, Micha, Tyler, Sissy, Chris, Kevin, Jr., and Autumn; one brother, Steve (Kelly) North; two sisters, Lori North and Lynn (Jim) Anglin; nieces and nephews, Val, Nokie, Melissa & Frankie, Danny, Mikey, Stephanie & James, Codilynn, Seth, and Zoey; great nieces and great nephews, Lil Frankie, WeeWee, Hunter, Britanny, Brianna, Anthony, Destiny, and Antonio; and his best friend Paula.

He was preceded in death by, Nanny, Memaw, Bill, Lil Eddie and LB.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday May 10, 2021 at the Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana.  Funeral services will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home.  Pastor Bob Burton will officiate.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Hobart, Indiana.
