James C. Constandars, age 66, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015. He was born on October 11, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to the late James and Ruby Constandars. Jim was employed as an expediter for US Steel for 37 years. In his free time, he enjoyed treasure hunting with his metal detector and going to rummage sales. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He will always be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years: Mary Constandars; sons: Brian (Rachel) Constandars, Jason (Cathy) Constandars; grandchildren: Alex, Tyler, Natalie and Parker Constandars; sister: Maryann Miller; special niece: Felicia Vucko; beloved dog: Baby.

He is preceded in death by his parents: James and Ruby Constandars.

A funeral service for Jim will take place Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with Rev. Frank Torres officiating.
