James P. "WILDMAN" Henson
Age 57, of Winamac, formerly of Lake Station passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born October 28, 1966, in Valparaiso, Indiana to James and Joan (nee Doxtater) Henson. He was a 1985 River Forest graduate and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Jim was the owner and operator of AAA Sewer and Drain. He enjoyed building and racing cars at Shadyhill Speedway, Southlake Speedway and many other racetracks. Jim's nickname was WILDMAN, and his car number was 3H. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy Henson; two sons, Jimmy Henson and Michael Henson; three daughters, Jessica (Dan) Block, Ashley (Kyle) Fowler and Danielle Henson; stepson, Logan (Teena) Revlett; eight grandchildren, Nicolette, Jocelyn, Brennan, Benjamin, Kiernan, Rowan, Alijah, Aric and Aden; parents, James A. and Joan Henson; two brothers, Joseph Henson and Robert Fiscus; two sisters, Julie (Terry) Johnson and Jennifer (Guy) Sutton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Henson.
A funeral service for Jim will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, at 11:00 am Central Time at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Indiana 46368. Visitation for Jim will be Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm Central Time also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
