James Ralph Ingram

James Ralph Ingram, age 78 of Crown Point, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023.  James was born on February 2, 1945, to the late Willie and Alice Ingram.  He worked for Pace Bus Company, CLP Trucking, and Merit Freight as a truck driver for over 40 years.  He loved driving, reading maps, and fellowshipping with others.  James loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a father figure to Devin and Hailey.   James was a member of Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church.  He loved the neighborhood and loved people.  He accepted everyone for who they were and had a lot of friends.

James is survived by two daughters, Sonya Ingram (Ralph Gallardo) of Elgin, IL; Kelly Steele of Hanover Park, IL; his ex-wife Connie Ingram of Elk Grove Village, IL; his significant other, Beth Gard of Crown Point, IN;  one sister, Yvonne Ceagers of Bronx, NY; and three grandchildren, Devin and Hailey Steele & Tayla Ingram, and one great-grandson, Dominic.
