James Galbraith Jr.

James Galbraith Jr., age 71 of Lake Station passed away Thursday November 30, 2017. He was born on September 20, 1946 to the late James and Lucy Galbraith.  James was a longtime Lake Station resident and had retired from LTV Steel.  He served his country in the U.S. Army.  James enjoyed working on and owning street rods.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Galbraith of Lake Station, IN; one son, Brad (Lori) Galbraith of Lake Station, IN; one daughter, Crystal (Brian) Lasky of Michigan City, IN; one sister, Jane Cory of Flora, IL; one grandchild, Nathan Schonert, 2 step-grandchildren, Jamie Bogdan, Haley Laskey, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by five sisters.
