James G. Skomac

James G. Skomac, age 82, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Saint Mary Medical Center. He was born in Gary, Indiana on October 26, 1935 to the late James G. and Erlene (nee Etchison) Skomac.  He owned and retired from Southport Auto Service. James will be remembered as a loving husband, father, Pa, great-grandfather, brother and friend

James is survived by wife, Elaine Skomac; son, James H. (Lisa) Skomac III; three daughters, Cheryl A. Wolf, Lori (Terry) Norman and Peggy (Nick) Starcevic; sister, Sandra (Leo) Hernandez; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Joyce Smurdon, Jean Butler and Eddie Kreischer.

A funeral service for James will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev.
