James C. E. Sutton

Age 56, of Lake Station passed away Friday, November 7,2025 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was born on November 2, 1969, in Zion, Illinois to the late Jerry Sutton and Alice (nee Short) Evans. James married the love of his life Kimberly (nee Wilshire) Sutton on November 10, 2001, in Valparaiso.

James is survived by his wife of 24 yrs, Kimberly Sutton; son, Ronald Evans; daughter, Loren DeVore; two grandchildren; two brothers, Karl (Beatrice) Sutton and Paul (Lisa) Sutton; sister, Linda Sutton and many other loving family members and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation for James will be held from 7:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 12,2025 at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave. Lake Station, Indiana 46405. Cremation will follow.
