Janet Rae Brunner, age 70, of Hobart passed away Wednesday March 18, 2015 at her home. Janet was born January 21, 1945 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to the late Edwin and Nora (Wessels) Gaedtke. Janet was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Janet is survived by her husband Ronald Brunner of Hobart; her three sons, Curtis Stout of Portage, Quinton (Cassandra) Stout of Missouri and Aaron (Danielle) Stout of Hobart; her daughter Vivian (Robert) Schwader of Portage; her two step sons Stephen Brunner of Georgia and Ray (Michelle) Brunner of Anderson; her six grandchildren Chad Holland, Jeffrey Holland, Jennifer (Joseph) Franklin, John Stout and Elliet Stout; her three step grandchildren Landon Schwader, Montana Brunner and Savannah Brunner; her two sisters-in-law Jan (Tony) Paladeno and Sharon Est; and several loving friends and extended relatives.

Janet was preceded in death by her first husband James Stout and one son Raymond Stout.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday March 26, 2015 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana with Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Entombment of ashes will follow in Graceland Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am on Thursday at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
