Janet Galbraith, age 72, of Lake Station passed away Wednesday February 17, 2021. Janet was born February 27, 1948 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Glen and Shirley (Smith) Beeson.  She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her two children, Brad (Lori) Galbraith of Lake Station and Crystal (Brian) Lasky of Michigan City; her three grandchildren, Nathan Schonert, Jamie Bogdan, and Haley Lasky; her brother, Mark (Ann) Beeson of Wheatfield; her sister, Linda Hunt of Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Galbraith, Jr.; her parents; her two brothers, Ron and Larry Beeson.

Visitation will be from 2-5 pm Saturday February 20, 2021 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.  Funeral services will follow immediately at 5pm at the Funeral Home.  Pastor Dennis Sampson will officiate.
