Janet Irene Price, age 82, of Hobart passed away Wednesday April 12, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor of Hobart. Janet was born May 14, 1934 in Jackson County, Indiana to the late Fred and Irene (DeVore) Myers, Sr. Janet was a homemaker, wife and sister. She enjoyed helping her sister setup and run Friday night auctions and knitting.

Janet is survived by her brother, Keith (Paulette) Myers of Valparaiso; her sister, Josephine Mitchell of Paris, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Price; her parents; three brothers, Rondel Myers, Fred Myers, Jr. and James Myers; and three sisters, Jean Miller, Joyce Hootnick and Linda Eastridge.

Funeral services for Janet will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday April 17, 2017 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342 with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the service time on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are preferred to the Special Olympics Indiana, Porter County 980 Portage Avenue Porter, IN 46304.
