Janet D. Wilkerson

Age 70 of Lake Station passed away Wednesday, December 16,2020. She was born on January 12, 1950 in Gary, Indiana to the late Rex Allen and Mildred (nee Courtney) Lewis. She was a lifelong Lake Station resident and enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.

She is survived by four sons, Roy (Debbie) Wilkerson, Timothy Wilkerson, Tony Wilkerson, and James (Michelle) Wilkerson all of Lake Station; two brothers, Rex (Bonnie) Lewis of Lake Station and Roger (Debbie) O'Rourke of Portage; two sisters, Kay (Don) Wilson of Lake Station and Frances (Wayne) Gilbert of Portage; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Linda Donnelly many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Wilkerson; daughter, Tina Wilkerson: her parents and brother, Warren Lewis.

A graveside service will take place Thursday, December 31,2020 at 10:15 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 2701 Willowdale, Portage, Indiana 46368.
