Jason Lee Creech, age 22, of Gary passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Jason worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Flying J Truck Stop in Gary, Indiana and attended Portage High School. Jason loved his family, friends, music, his fury companion Frank the pug and an avid Bulls fan. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Jason is survived by his loving family; parents, Larry and Sharon (nee Barnes) Creech, of Valparaiso; sister, Christina Creech of Portage; brother, Brian Creech of Valparaiso; paternal grandparents, George (Sharon) Creech of Portage; uncles: Paul Creech of Portage, Patrick (Rose) Barnes of Gilbert, Arizona and Michael (Sherri) Barnes of Valparaiso; uncle and best friend Gordon Barnes of Valparaiso; aunts, Penny (Chris) Seals and Kari Creech both of Portage, girlfriend of 6 years Jasmine Rodriguez and many other loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Rex and Margie Barnes, and Aunt, Lisa Barnes.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
Funeral services for Jason will be held Monday, December 19, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel.
