JAVIER FLORES, age 49, of Hobart, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013. Javier was employed with Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, Southlake Campus.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Flores and his loving children, Christina Flores, Renee (Ron) Tucker, Jerry L. Pittman, James S. (Stephanie) Pittman; grandsons, Brandon White, Paxton Pittman; parents, Aida Flores and Felix (Eugenia) Flores; 2 girls (dogs), Maya and Molly; sisters, Jacqueline (Mariano) Luyando and Cecelia (Juaquin Cintron) Flores; brother, Felix Flores, Jr.; several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles and other loving family members and friends.

Javier was preceded in death his nephew, Ruben Mejia, Jr.

Javier loved gardening and landscaping. He liked watching the White Sox and also the Colts.

A funeral service for Javier will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart.
