J.C .BIZZLE, age 88, of Crown Point, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. He was born in Dyersburg, TN on January 27, 1929 to the late Emmett E. and Ellie H. Bizzle. J.C. worked as a crane operator at US Steel Tube Works until his retirement in 1986. He was an avid Cubs fan and also enjoyed golfing and bowling. J.C. will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary Geraldine Bizzle; daughter, Diane Bizzle; 3 grandchildren, Angela (Jay) Hegde, Kim (Mike) Gavaller, Tammy Vanderwijst; 4 great grandchildren, Eden (Ryan) Gill, Sabrina (Tyler) Shockey, Chuck Beach, Giana Gavaller; one great great granddaughter, Natalie Shockey; sister, Helen Mooney; nieces, Lori and Corie Mooney; and nephew, Steven (Donna) Bizzle.
J.C. was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Dale Bizzle and brother, J.L. Bizzle.
A visitation for J.C. will be Friday, March 24, 2017 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph, Winfield/Crown Point, 46307. A funeral service will be Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel with Rev. Dallas Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery.
