Jean Fay (Darling) Humbert, age 77, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017. She was born on April 11, 1940 in Gary, Indiana to the late George and Mabel Darling. Jean was the owner and operator of Once Again Resale Shop in Lake Station. In her free time, she collected dolls and sold Avon. She loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.

Jean is survived by her sons, Delane Overturf, Bryce (Jane) Overturf, James C. Werner, Brandon (Michelle) Humbert, Byron Humbert; daughter, Mabel (Edward) Kozub; 16 grandchildren, many loving great grandchildren; sisters, Lynn Darling and June Markle; many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mabel Darling; husband, Ted Humbert; son, L. Frank Overturf, Jr.; daughter, Collette Overturf; several brothers and sisters.
