JEAN ANN LONG, age 75, of Lake Station and Winter Haven, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in Winter Haven, FL. Jean was a longtime Lake Station resident and she along with her husband, Richard Lee Long, were snowbirds who headed south to Winter Haven. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Station and Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven. Jean's family and faith were the focus of her life. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Jean is survived by her son, Rick (Terry Ann) Long of Lake Station, daughter, Vicki Long of Winter Haven, FL, grandchildren: Jeni (Daniel) LaLonde, Crissi Hodgkins, Ricky (Laura) Long, Katie (Justin) Fiscus and Emily Long (Julian Garza), 6 great grandchildren: Lexi, Rosie, Livi, Jackson, Mason and Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee "Dick" Long.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 10 am until 1:00 PM at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Charles Cooper and Rev. Fred Standridge officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
