Age 68 of Lake Station passed away Friday, June 08, 2012. She was born January 5, 1944 in Gary, IN to the late Glen and Ruby Cogley. Jean will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in law and friend and will be dearly missed.Her son; James Potts, parents, brother; Glen Cogley Jr. sisters; Alice Krawczyk and Judy Vrtikapa preceded her in death.She is survived by her loving family; daughter Lorri (Roger) Luchene of Hobart, 3 grandchildren; Trisha (James) Woestman, Tyler Luchene, and Jamie Potts, 2 great grandchildren Aubree Singleton- Luchene and Camden Woestman, daughter-in-law Tammy Moore-Potts of Lake Station and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation is Monday June 11, 2012 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Road. Funeral services are Tuesday June 12,2012 at 11 a.m. with Rev Jerry Martin officiating at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. Cremation will follow.In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Jean's memory to American Lung Association, 115 West Washington Street, Ste 1180-S, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
