Jeanette J. Kalberer

Jeanette J. Kalberer (nee Davis), age 85 a lifetime Hobart resident passed away Monday, January 10, 2022.  She was born on June 3, 1936 to the late William and Marie Davis.  She was a wonderful Homemaker and Mother.  Jeanette enjoyed genealogy and she loved to shop.

She is survived by her husband of over 68 years, Lewis "Joe" Kalberer of Hobart, IN; three sons, William "Bill" (Annette) Kalberer of Valparaiso, IN; Edward (Dana Ondo) Kalberer of Hobart, IN; James Kalberer of Hobart, IN; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Kalberer, one grandson, Edward Kalberer, Jr., four brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral services are Friday, January 14, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.  Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.  Visitation is Friday, January 14, 2022 just prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.  (219) 942-2109.
