JEANNE HART-ROGGE, age 69, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 while surrounded by her family at her home. She is no longer in pain after years of suffering. Jeanne was born in Gary on July 12, 1947 to the late Robert and Mary Lou Hart. She was a graduate of Emerson High School and worked for many years as a waitress and bartender at the Holiday Star and at Rosie O'Grady's. Jeanne will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her son, Wayne R. Rogge, Hobart; daughter, Lisa Marie Rogge, Valparaiso; grandchildren, Kristina (Casey) Ballas (nee Rogge) and Christina (Nicholas) Wisler; great grandchildren, Jaxson Ballas, Arianna, Gavin, Mason, and Ava Wisler; step grandchildren, Briar and Ryker Ballas; brother, Keith (Roxanne) Hart, Portage; sister, Diana (John) Paris of Valparaiso.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jeanne's family to help defray funeral expenses.

A funeral service will take place Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
