Jeannette Cecelia Flores (nee Hac), age 75 passed away Monday, January 31, 2011. Jeannette had been a life long resident of Lake Station and was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and The Alter and Rosary Fidelity.

Jeannette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by nine children, Louis Flores, Jr. of Lake Station, Cynthia (Thomas) Boyd of Indianapolis, David (Linda) Flores of North Judson, Francine (Brian) Malwin of Michigan City, Dennis (Darlene) Flores of North Carolina, Diane (William) Hamady, Gregory Flores, Beverly (Michael) Churchill and Brian Flores all of Hobart, 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband Louis Sr., parents Lottie and Walter Hac, brothers Walter Jr. (Sonny) and Gerald Hac and sister Lorraine.

Memorial contributions are preferred for family wishes.

Funeral services for Jeannette will he held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, with Father Eduardo Malagon officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a 4:00 p.m. Prayer Service at the Hobart Chapel.
