Jeffery J. Skalik, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville. Jeff grew up in New Chicago and graduated from River Forest High School in the Class of 1976. He was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was also a member of the Arizona Carpenters Union. Jeff was currently employed at U.S. Steel Gary Works.
Jeffery is survived by his loving family; sister Kathleen Hill, brother Jeff Skalik, step-daughter Nicole Morlos, nephews Daniel and Russell Hill, niece Kimberly Cash, and other dear friends.
