Jeffrey L. Gibson

JEFFREY L. GIBSON, age 64, of Dyer and formerly a longtime resident of Lake Station and Hobart, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019.  He was born in Hawaii on April 25, 1955 to the late Joseph and Dorothy Gibson. Jeffrey was a mechanic at Stardust Bowl II for many years.  He was an avid bowler and lifelong San Francisco Giants fan, but above all he loved his grandkids and attending all their functions.  He will be dearly missed.

Jeffrey is survived by his daughter, Lisa Gibson; daughter-in-law, Tai Gibson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Hunter Gibson; sister, Patricia (Joellyn Stuckey) Gibson; other loving family.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Jon Gibson; and 2 brothers, Gary and David Gibson.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
