Jeffrey C. Irzyk, age 62 of Valparaiso passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He was born on August 1, 1959 in Gary, Indiana to Michael and Dorothy Irzyk. Jeff retired in 2014 from Local #150 Operating Engineers where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for 37 years. He was a member of the Northern Indiana Historical Power Association and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren drive his antique tractors every year at Sunset Hill Farm at the Harvest Festival. Jeff was the epitome of a country gentleman who took pride in all that he did and always set the bar extremely high. A proud husband, father and papa, he was the glue that held his family together and he adored his children and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Irzyk; his loving wife, Peggy (nee Pavese) Irzyk; his beloved weiner dog and scrapping buddy, Dylan; son, Jeff (Brooke) Irzyk, Jr.; daughters, Kelly (Jason) Woodbury, Stephanie (Aaron) Batz, Krystina (Matt Bull) Irzyk; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Loralei, Emma, Matthew, Cecelia, Charlotte, Jack, Piper, Tripp, Penelope and Jaxson; brother, Gerard (Barbie) Irzyk; sisters, Michele (Randy) Gray, Melynda (Mark) Underwood, Claudine (Bill) Laufman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael C. Irzyk, Jr.
