Jeffrey Kirk "Jeff" Lahaie, age 40, of Chesterton, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016. He was born on September 13, 1976 in Hobart, Indiana to David and Dorothy Lahaie. Jeff was a 1995 graduate of Chesterton High School and a friend and mentor to many at Gelsosomo's Pizzeria. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed wood working, fishing and was an avid Star Wars and Van Halen fan.

Jeff is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy A. (nee Watkins) Lahaie of Chesterton; brother, Michael (fiancee, Masako) Lahaie of Mattawan, MI; nephews, Clint and Cody Lahaie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial visitation for Jeff will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
