Jeffrey Randall Thomas
"Randy" Sandefur, age 25 passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. He was born on April 13, 1988 in Fort Gordon, GA, the son of Jeffrey Sandefur and Michell (Nee Grasa) Sandefur. Randy was a 2006 graduate of Edison High School. Randy loved spending time with his nephew Julian and teaching him about life. He also enjoyed reading, writing music and poems, and gardening. His family called him a natural green thumb. Randy will be remembered as a loving free spirited son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend.
Randy is survived by his loving parents; Jeffrey Sandefur of Lake Station , Michell Sandefur of Portage, 2 sisters; Angel Sandefur of Italy, and Erica Sandefur of Hobart, nephew; Julian Cliver of Hobart and many other loving family members and friends. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage. Cremation will follow with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
