Jennie Suzanne Bottila

Celebrating the life of Jennie Suzanne  "Susan" Bottila (nee Hanni) 102 years ago was born to parents Augusta and Amanda Hanni in Tamarack, MN on February 23, 1916. Sister to Gust, Hazel, Lillian all of MN.  She married Edward Bottila and was the mother of three children, the late Beverly (Charles) Malast, Barbara (Andrew) Mucha of Portage, IN; and son Dennis (Pamela) Bottila of Lake Station, IN; Special Aunt, Karen (Warren) Sanders of MN.

She was employed for a time at Walgreens in Gary, Indiana.

She was a devoted Lutheran at Bethel Lutheran Church in Miller.

She also left her legacy with 11 grandchildren, Mark, Jody, Mike, Scott, Tim, Jennifer, Heather, Christopher, Candice, Albert, Hailey.  Great-grandmother to 21, Michelle, Candice, Nicholas, Mike, Nichole, Nathan, Bridgette, Elizabeth, Charles, Lorelei, Andrew, Raven, Angel, Olivia, Kylie, Giovanni, Kali, Logan, and Reagan, Jackson, and Maddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus and Amanda, her husband, Edward Bottila, daughter, Beverly, and grandchildren, Michael, Scott, and Tim Mucha.

Funeral services are Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 411 N. Montogomery St., Miller/Gary with Rev.
