Jennifer Margaret Garza, age 63, of Hobart passed away Friday May 23, 2025. She was born on August 31, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois to the late William and Margaret (Klimas) Drury.

She retired from Northwest Health Porter, where she worked as a dedicated courier. She had a deep love for nature and found peace walking and driving through the Indiana Dunes. As an avid fan of horror films, she looked forward to weekends spent in her recliner for movie marathons. Jennifer loved Aunt Marion's sweet treats and appreciated all the cookies delivered. She was a Chicago Bears fan and watched the football game every Sunday.

Jennifer shared a special bound with her Australian Shepherd, Charlie, who preceded her in death. In a final tribute to their connection, Charlie's ashes will be mixed with Jennifer's before being scattered at places she loved.

She is survived in death by her, two sons, Joshua and Corbin Garza; three sisters, Judy (Greg) Bujaki, Jaqueline (Don) McFarlane, and Jamie (Mike) Bartolini; her Aunt, Marion Thompson; several nieces and nephews, Alexandra, Michael, Zachary, Ian, Sarah, Carley, Kyle, and Courtney; and great niece and nephew, Alison and Ethan. She was also loved and supported by her special friends Rina Kurek and Mike Ralph.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jeff Drury; and nephew Michael Bujaki.

Her arrangements were entrusted to Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana.
