JEROME JOHN "JERRY" ZYTKO, age 76 of Gary passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012. He was a long time Gary resident. He was the son of Stephan and Adele Zytko. Jerry proudly served his country in the US Navy and is a member of the VFW Post 5365, American Legion Post 260, F.O.E., Areie 2529 of Cedar Lake. He retired from US Steel after 35 years of service.

Jerry is survived by his brother Thomas (Frieda) Zytko of Las Vegas NV, 3 sisters Stephanie Tokarz of Dunedon FL, Patricia Gospodarek of Hobart, IN and Irene Waytosak of Portage, IN, Many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother in laws Chester Tokarz and Donald Gospodarek

In Lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be made to the family.

A funeral service for Jerry will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, IN. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be on Friday December 21, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.
