JERRY R. BROCKUS, age 75, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017. He was born on May 17, 1941 to the late Harry and Dorothy Brockus. Jerry graduated from Morton High School and was a retiree of Mittal/LTV Steel after 43 years of service.

Jerry is survived by his son, Charles Brockus, Hobart; brother, William (Therese Moore) Brockus, DeMotte; 4 sisters, Jeannine Wiesen, Donna Lloyd both of Portage, Linda (Jim) Siple, Hammond, and Peggy Shorter, Mt. Vernon, IN; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann; parents, Harry and Dorothy Brockus; and sister, Shirley Kegley.

A funeral service for Jerry will be Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with visitation from 9:00 until the time of service.
