Jerry Ray Bunch

Jerry Ray Bunch, age 92, of Hobart passed away Tuesday November 3, 2026, at his home. Jerry was born July 5, 1934, in Logan, West Virginia to the late Dave and Lily Bunch. Jerry was a Steelworker that retired at age 86 from Industrial Steel Corp. He loved Westerns, reading the News Paper, and working Sudoku Puzzles. Jerry Loved his family, his kids, and his grandkids. Jerry was a US Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheri Bunch of Hobart; two sons, Johnny (Heather) Hallman of Hobart, and Danny Hallman of Alabama; His grandchildren, Alex (Krista) Bunch, Makayla Bunch, Madison Bunch, Diana Hallman, Harley Hallman, and Frederick Galindo; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Johnnie; his son James Hallman; two daughters, Jeri Bunch, and Cathy Groleau; a brother, Clyde Bunch; and three sisters, Francis Harrison, Margie Yager, and Marie Hall.

Funeral services for Jerry will be 1:00 pm Monday November 9, 2026, at Rees Funeral Home 600 West Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday from 11 am to time of service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart.
