Jerry A. Stidham, age 81, of Hobart passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was born on September 12, 1939 in Kansas, Alabama to the late William and Willie Lee Stidham. On June 13, 1959 in Hammond, Indiana he married Maryln Camp.  He retired in 2001 from LTV Steel where he worked as a motor inspector. Jerry will always be remembered for his strength of character. He was a very steady and faithful person. Jerry was a dedicated member of Crown of Life Church in Hobart. He served as deacon there and enjoyed volunteering his time to help them grow the church. He enjoyed taking trips to Alabama where he would stay during the cold winter months.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61years, Maryln (nee Camp) Stidham; son, Donny (Nora) Stidham; daughters, Diane Justice, Jill (Bill) Taylor; grandchildren; Luke Taylor, Jacob (McKenzie) Taylor; step grandchildren, Bill and Bobby Taylor; brother, Steven (Linda) Stidham; and many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Willie Lee Stidham.

A funeral service for Jerry will take place Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 am at Crown of Life Church, 2825 E Cleveland Ave, Hobart, IN 46342 with pastors Bill and Luke Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church. A private burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Garden.
