Jill Marie Dockery, age 43, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born on August 15, 1972 in Hammond, Indiana to Jack and Pamela Waugaman. On January 6, 1994, in Hammond, Indiana, she married the love of her life, Craig Dockery, whom she had known since the fourth grade. Jill worked as a Registered Nurse for St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond and Fresenius Medical Care. She was exceptionally smart and enjoyed fishing and camping with her family, and sewing. She was also an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bears when football season came around. She liked motorsports and shared that passion with her family. She will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend by those who love her.

Jill is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years, Craig Dockery; her mother, Pamela (Stanley) Barnhart; daughters, Brittany Dockery, Katie Dockery; sons, Craig Dockery Jr., Jacob Dockery; brothers, Jack Waugaman III, Anthony (Amber) Waugaman, Adam (girlfriend, Elissa Frain) Waugaman; sister, Dawn (boyfriend, Phil Eaves) Waugaman; several nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Waugaman and one brother, Jack Waugaman II. Memorial contributions in Jill's name are preferred to the family.

A funeral service for Jill will take place Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana. She will be laid to rest at Angelcrest Cemetery in Valparaiso. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
