Jim A. Cline

James A "Jim" Cline, age 59, of Portage, passed away Wednesday November 14, 2018. He was born on August 12,1959 to Marvin and the late Sharon Cline. On August 30, 2002 in Chicago, Illinois, he married the love of his life, Angie Kowalski. Jim was a painter by trade and was a past member of the Painters Union Locals 265 and 460. He was an avid Nascar fan and loved his dogs Tucker and Patsy. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Angie of Portage; sons, Ian (Stephanie) Prance, Shane Prance, Danny O'Brien, Shamus (Victoria Lachowicz) O'Brien and Jereme (Jenifer Fifield) Cline; five grandchildren, Aaliyah, Miley, Camron, Lukas and Emmalynn;father, Marvin Cline ; sister, Deb Cline; special friend, Sandy Hays, and many other loving family members and friends. His mother, Sharon, preceded Jim in death.
A funeral service for Jim will take place Saturday November 17, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station. Cremation will follow the service.
