Joan Jehlik-Johnson

Joan Jehlik-Johnson, age 81, of Glen Ellyn, Illinois passed away suddenly on Saturday March 16, 2024, at the home of her son in Lake Station, Indiana. Joan was born August 26, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Howard and Agnes (Gados) Deegan. She was a retired Real Estate Broker/Agent who owned and operated her own agency for several years. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Joan is survived by two children, Michael Jehlik of Lake Station and Sue Jehlik of Chiefland, Florida; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve) Kemp, Becky (Craig) Helton, Jason (Katie) Jehlik, Sam Jehlik, and Katrina Jehlik; several great grandchildren; a brother Dennis (Nancy) Deegan of Twinsburg, Ohio; her sister, Jean Bellezzo of Mission Viejo, California; and several Nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; her son Tim Jehlik; her sister, Betty Pieta; and three brothers, Robert Deegan, John Deegan, and Patrick Deegan.

Joan wished to be cremated with no attended services.
