LEONARD, Joan A. (Kolwicz), age 84, formerly Joan Grembowicz of Griffith and Portage passed away Saturday November 14, 2020.  She was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School in 1954.  As a devout Catholic, Joan was a member of The Mystical Rose Prayer Group.  She loved spending time with her family, dining out at fine restaurants, and watching Hallmark movies.  She had a love for Christmastime, and often left the interior of her home partially decorated year-round.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Kolwicz and Agnes Kolwicz (Kosinski), brother Walter Kolwicz, her loving husband Ignatius (Iggy) Grembowicz, and sister Claire Pierce (Kolwicz).  She is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, George Leonard, many beloved nieces and nephews, many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews, many beloved great-great nieces and great-great nephews, beloved step children Jeffrey Leonard (Linda Leonard), Carolyn Leonard, and many step-grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. CST Saturday November 28, 2020 at Saint Francis Xavier Parish at 2447 Putnam Street, Lake Station, IN with Joan's dearest friend and confidant, Fr.
