Johannah Elizabeth Rees

Johannah Elizabeth Rees, age 94, of St. Joseph, Michigan went to be with the Lord Monday August 26, 2024. Johannah was born April 10, 1930, in Hobart, Indiana to the late Howard and Ann (O'Connor) Rees. She was preceded in death by her brother Gerald Rees.

Johannah received a master's degree in education from Ball State University.  She was a highly valued and devoted first-grade teacher in the Muncie Community School System for 27 years. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was dearly loved.

Johannah leaves behind to celebrate her life, three daughters, two son-in-laws, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday September 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Bridget Catholic Church 107 Main St. Hobart, IN 46342 with Rev. Benjamin Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Hobart Cemetery.
