John Cadle, age 58 of Lake Station passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012. He was born on October 2, 1953 to the late Hobert and Opal Cadle. He was a longtime Lake Station resident and worked as a master mechanic for Town and Country Construction. John loved working on race cars and hot rods and loved going to the races.
He is survived by his 4 children, Robert J. Cadle of Houston, TX; William Burns of Portage, IN; Carrie (Joseph) Dafcik of Kentland, IN; Melissa Cox of Lake Station, IN; 4 sisters, Marie Mayville of Monroe, MI; Brenda Joyce Pedroza of Houston, TX; Lena (Ralph) Schindler of Lake Station, IN; Rhonda Louise (Charles) Cox of Monroe, MI; 4 brothers, Hobert (Judy) Cadle Jr., of Monroe, MI; Willard "Bill" Cadle of Hobart, IN; Paul F. Cadle of Paris, Ky; Tommy R. Cadle of Lake Station, IN; 11 grandchildren, Neko, Joe, Britteny, Quainda, Jonathon, Brianna, Jazmine, Jared, Matthew, William, and Kenneth, former wife, Cheryl Dixon of Lake Station, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Eunice "Flo" Duncan, Virginia Elwood, 1 brother, Clifford Cadle, and 1 grandson, EJ.
Funeral services are Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Lenny Russell officiating.
