John H. Mazepa

John Mazepa passed away on July 29, 2018 peacefully at home, with his wife and daughters at his side.  He was a lifetime resident of Hobart, IN. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, including two daughters, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.He was an avid fisherman, and loved to travel with his wife and family. Funeral services are Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.   Visitation is Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.  (219) 942-2109 or online at www.Reesfuneralhomes.com . In lieu of flowers please donate to the following charities of your choice.  Harbor Light Hospice, 1229 Arrowhead Court, Crown Point, IN  46307 or American Lung Association, 55 W.
