John A. Null

John Allen Null, age 73 of Valparaiso passed away Monday, August 1, 2022. He was born on July 13, 1949 in Marion, Kentucky to the late John and Gladys Null. John proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from local #150 where he worked as an Operating Engineer. He was a dedicated member of the Masons, the Shriners, and the Knights Templar. He was a talented auto mechanic. In his free time, John was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, traveling in his RV, boating and watersports.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maryanne (Nixon) Null; brothers, Robert (Barbara) Null, Daniel (Debra) Null; nephews, Bobby, Justin and Ryan; nieces, Lisa and Savannah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys Null; brother, Rick Null;  nephews, Brandon Null and Gary Null.

A memorial service for John will take place Friday, August 19, 2022 at 6:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 805 Elm Street Valparaiso, IN. Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Eagles. Cremation was entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. For more information, please call (219) 942-2109.
