John B. Prince

Passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Regency Hospital in Portage. John was born on February 4.1946 the son of John E. and Maedine (nee Price) Prince in Searcy, Arkansas. On January 30, 1965 John married his love of his life Kim (nee Eden) Prince. He retired from Inland Steel and then enjoyed retirement working as a ground keeper for Stony Run Park. John will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
He is survived by wife; Kim Prince of Hobart, son; Jason (Lisa) Prince of Lowell, Kelly Gumm of Tucson, Arizona, Kerrie (Scott) Bowen of Hessville, 5 grandchildren; Korrinna Prince, Madilynn Gumm, Mackenna Gumm, Peyton Prince and Haley Prince, father; John E. Prince of Hobart, brother; Paul (Anita) Prince of Warrenton, Missouri, mother-in-law; Corky Eden of Hobart, and many other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother; Maedine Prince, brother Mickey Prince and sister; Patricia Prince
A celebration of John's life will be held Sunday, August 26th at the Stoney Run County Park,137th Avenue, Hebron, Indiana, 46341 from noon until 4:00 pm. Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana.
